Legal aid is not charity gift

If legal aid is entitelment of those eligible for it,rather than a charitiable gift, then, the mere attempt at assistance is not praiseworthy,in absence of consistent high quality of service leading to favourable results. This implies that legal aid cannot be left as a part time avocation of well-intensioned private persons or or judicial Administrators whose prncipal carrers lie outside the ambit of legal aid. The soul of the scheme is legal assistance,a specialised know how of the social technologists called lawyears to make shape to this national programme. The bar must lend its expertise librally to the poor who now look upon the law as an enemy, not as freind. Irequest the brethren to do something in this regard.
